The training manual “Processing of extremely large data arrays (Big Data)” includes the main provisions of the concept of “big data”, technologies for processing extremely large data arrays, methods of creating information systems that work with “big data”, examples of practical application of the results of processing “big data” , as well as a wide range of issues related to the practice of “big data” processing and analysis.
The manual examines the application of methods of intelligent data analysis to large volumes of data (Big Data). Relevant software tools were analyzed, including the powerful Hadoop big data processing system, the Elasticsearch search engine, the Neo4j graph database processing system, and the modern NoSQL database management system MongoDB. Examples of programs in the Python language are given in the manual to consolidate the learning material.
The publication is intended for cadets of the institute who are studying at the second (master’s) level in the specialty 122 “Computer Science”.
